❖ The purpose of Cy-Fair Helping Hand's Vocational Scholarship is to offer homeless high school students who reside within the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) boundaries funding for courses designed for quick entry into the workforce.
❖ The winner of Cy-Fair Helping Hands’ Vocational Scholarship will receive a one-time award valued from $800 to $2500.

❖ The recipient must be interested in pursuing a specific vocation where certification is offered at an accredited local community college or trade school.

❖ This scholarship is available to graduating high school students or GED students who reside within the boundaries of Cy-Fair Independent School District and meet the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act definition of homeless.
With about 100 homeless high school seniors due to graduate from Cy-Fair ISD high schools in 2019, we are expecting applications from 30 or so students.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were able to award a scholarship to every homeless student who sent us an application?  With your help, we can!

Funding for all of CFHH’s programs come from individuals, churches, business, organizations and groups.  Our programs are managed and staffed by volunteers,
we have no paid employees.  If you would like to contribute toward additional
